    I love walking here with my kids or to ride my bicycle. Very relaxing. But don't overstay, you'll get a $75.00 fine after 9:00 pm.

    Very beautiful and well maintained. There is a dam to the south and it's just outstanding! Definitely recommend biking here in the summer and the trail is about 8 miles.

    We go here for Union meetings once a year. Usually some kind of cookout and this is a really nice place it's also very huge easy to get lost. But I'm so glad that we have a forest preserve in the lake / Cook County border area that we all can have access to it's very nice.

    Very nice layout! My Father's union gave a picnic at this location I was VERY impressed. It was a very clean and relaxing atmosphere and there were plenty of picnic tables. The portable bathrooms were clean and there were even portable sinks available which was highly important! I'm not sure if they are always available or if was specifically for the outing but overall a nice layout!

    We went kayaking. Launch area was decent. The lake that day (time of year) was pretty green so expect that lake smell. It was peaceful considering the location. There are boat/kayak rentals there too. Lake was not that crowded. Check the map as the lake(s) wind around quite a bit. It really does feel like you are away from the traffic that lies just over the hill.
