  Had a lovely visit here for my three day stay for my sister’s wedding. Beautiful remodeled historic mansion directly across from Lake Michigan provided a peaceful setting for morning walks along the beach. But it’s the food, too! Gourmet breakfasts by Corrine made the stay that much more special. Corrine took special care to ensure my dietary preferences were met. Three mornings in a row I had three incredible meals—and no repeats. From homemade granola and yogurt with fresh fruit, to waffles and quiche to smoothies and then avacado toast—can’t tell you how much I appreciated her food to start the day. Every minute of my visit was packed with family activities, but having my day start out with food prepared with such attention to detail from Corrine was incredible. Thank you so much!

  The location on the lake was gorgeous. 5 minute walking distance to everything you need in Evanston. The rooms are impeccably finished and furnished. The innkeepers are friendly, responsive, and wonderful hosts. Breakfast was wonderful with good variety and options. We will be staying here again.

  Quaint bed and breakfast close to the lake, college and restaurants.

  Stone Porch is absolutely beautiful. When this old home was renovated, no expense was spared; down to each and every little detail. Seriously, my only disappointment was not having more time to spend there. My room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. My private bathroom was a knockout. Innkeepers (and sisters) Sharon and Lisa, are warm and welcoming, and their home baked goodies and breakfasts are noteworthy. Sitting at the dining room table, you get a front row seat of the lake. You can't beat it. I can't wait to return.
