(November 17, 2018, 10:02 pm)I have been to Streamwood at least 7 times and each time I felt like all the staff wanted you to get better even when you try to fight them. I once stayed there for 2 months. In those two months they helped me get better. If you are going through some kind of mental health crisis I would look at Streamwood. Streamwood is a great place to go to because they care a lot and want you to get better. I would also like to thank the 3 staff that helped on the behavioral intervention unit Katie Carolina and gaspi they helped so much I will never forgot them
(November 5, 2018, 11:03 pm)I was there for 9 days. The staff was great they made my time there better. It all depends on who your psychiatrist and therapist are. But overall they helped me with my depression and suicidal thoughts. It’s not a bad place (Writing this a year later so I don’t know if anything’s changed but hope this helps)
