  One of the most neat and clean beaches and parks I have been to. Parking may be a little tough, but everything else is amazing. The lake view is gorgeous. Lots of trees, greenery, flowers. Great experience for families and couples!

  Fantastic park with new and well-maintained Facilities. There are plenty of places to sit and plenty of room for kids to play on. I found the crowd here to be friendly. There are plenty of trash cans located around the park. on the weekends the issue is parking which is rather limited but you can find it in the surrounding neighborhood which is just a short walk away

  Absolutely beautiful! Lots of green space and the beach is breathtaking! Love that there were lots of benches to sit on in case you didn't bring your own seating. And the dog beach is wonderful!

  Great beach, but if your not in the “swim area” park patrol won’t even let you get 6 ft in to the lake. Pretty sad kinda have to sneak in and take a dip before blue shirts come around stating it’s the “law”. Aside from that great place.

  Some locations are best in the bright warm light of summer, which everyone enjoys with their families on outings. Gillson is lovely in the summer. The beach, the playground, despite the limited parking, despite the fees. Some say it has another identity. A locale
  you make your own. A solitary site you visit whether anyone is there or not. You pick the time of day. You pick the weather. Explore the park. Amble around. See the outdoor theater. Visit the boat docks. Sit with the light of the full moon as you gaze back at beautiful Baha'i Temple. This park is a feast for the active who enjoy it's available activities, or the contemplative, who enjoy it's beauty and aesthetics.
