(August 5, 2019, 3:30 pm)Haven't been here in years but it's a great park. Started getting really nice in the 80s-90s. Now it's an excellent example of what a great neighborhood park should be.

(July 30, 2019, 2:31 pm)Well maintained nature park in the middle of the Wilmette neighborhood. Quaint little park for all ages and activities. Kids can enjoy finding turtles, butterflies, fishes and bull frogs. You could read a book on one of those benches under the shade or walk the little loop while I you hear birds chirping. Totally can't hear that busy road.

(June 4, 2019, 7:37 am)Though she is little, she is fierce. Good for Pokemon Go with one gym and four or five Poke Stops. Small pond with fish and turtles. Decent array of trees and flowers. Parking is sufficient. Has a porta potty.

(September 1, 2018, 9:59 pm)The house I grew up in backed up to this park. Originally (in the 60's and 70's) the land was a natural, untended forest with crabapple trees, violets, spearmint, and indigenous plants. I used to dig under the fence and build tree forts. Eventually the Village put the park in, removing many trees, adding a water feature, a full paved path, and heavily landscaped grounds. I liked the untended forest better than the manicured park, but both are compelling.
