Great bike! Friends and family agree that this was the right choice. Family purchased a Rad commuter and I liked it but wanted something nicer. Made a call to Volton and got fitted with the Alation. Everything is a step up in quality and the ride is way better! That torque sensor! Yes! If you're around Chicago and looking for a solid bike and a great crew to work with, you've found the place.

Joe at Volton was amazing! He helped me out of a bind when I got a flat on the north branch trail... YIKES! Joe went out of his way to help me fix my road bike even though it’s an electric bike store. He was kind, informative, and accommodating. Thanks again Joe! You really saved me!

I have a Volton alation 500 and just hit 1000 miles. There was a proprietary washer missing form the rear wheel fitting after I had a tire replaced. I emailed pictures to Volton and they quickly sent me replacement washer with a flange. Back riding everyday, love the bike .

Joe did a fantastic job on my e-bike conversion. I wanted to convert to an e-bike without compromising its retro look. He recommended a 250W mid-drive with an attached battery to the frame of the bike that looks like a water bottle (very cool). The bike looks and rides great.
