  Most recently, we had to move my mother-in-law into hospice, a move that is obviously very heart wrenching and emotionally challenging. My husband and I cannot provide enough praise for the care and compassion that was displayed by the team at Journey Care. In particular, Kathy was absolutely outstanding. She provided education, experience, caring and compassion to make an extremely unpleasant and sad experience somewhat manageable. Additionally, mom’s nighttime nurse Moonhee was excellent, also filled with genuine compassion. Ricky was terrific too. Journey Care staff is exceptional! We cannot say enough how this team helped make this process a bit more palatable. Renee L

  We only had JourneyCare for a few weeks before my mom passed. The nurses were wonderful and explained what was happening to mom every step of the way. They put together a care plan for her and also told us what to be sure to ask for from the nursing home to keep our mom comfortable while she was in the "active dying phase". My brother, sister and I will be forever grateful for their care during this difficult time.

  I can not say enough about the care my mother and our family received while in the care of JourneyCare! The facility is very clean, comfortable and accommodating. Every single person there, including all the volunteers and cleaning staff were warm, thoughtful and genuine. Most of all my mother was finally comfortable and at peace her last few days with us. I was so greatful that she made the decision to go into Hospice at JourneyCare in Glenview.
  Thank you JourneyCare of Glenview, you all are Angel's on earth!

  My father and his brother both received exceptional care from JourneyCare in Glenview. My uncle was in the center and my father remained at home. All of the care that they both recieved could not have been better!! The JourneyCare support team was very attentive, caring and diligent. The people there treated them both with the upmost of dignity and respect. JourneyCare made a very difficult experience, very comforting and peaceful. The center in Glenview is very beautiful and serene. They cared for our family as much as they cared for my father and uncle. They offered as much support and comfort as possilbe. After my father and uncle passed, JourneyCare continued to make sure our family was recieving the proper support and counseling. Our family is very grateful to JOurneyCare and highly recommmends JourneyCare!

  I am grateful to every person that took care of my mom. They are just wonderful. They tended to her with such care, I am still in awe. They had volunteers come out and even a harp player which my mom loved to hear. Every person that cared for her till her last days, I am grateful. You made things so much easier. I highly recommend them for care of your loved ones.
