(October 16, 2018, 10:02 pm)Updated: OK, I had to change this to a 5-star review, because, in retrospect, I think Don's makes the best Chicago dog I've ever had, hands down. You know it's good when you start craving one. Also when you think to yourself when you're eating one "I sure am glad Don's isn't five minutes from my house, because I'd be eating two hot dogs once or twice a week"!!!
One of the best, if not the best, Chicago-style dogs I've ever had. If it were made with a higher-quality hot dog (as in Vienna Beef), it would be the best without a doubt. Cucumbers instead of a pickle spear, lots of onions and just the right hit of celery salt really makes them. Fries are OK. Tried an Italian beef - wasn't spiced well enough and was dry. -
