“I've been suffering from ingrown nails for the better part of my life; 20 plus years to be exact. And over those years I've been to all manner of podiatrist ranging from the small town home brew doctors, to the large scale state of the art equipment wielding docs. Most of them have been successful in their own rights, but in the end the nail simply returns and again becomes ingrown. So after two months of agony once more, I decided to just swallow my pride, scrape together the money, and go in to see if the doctors at Advanced Foot and Ankle Center of Illinois could help me. I was able to schedule an appoint the night before, which was a shock and welcome change to waiting for a few days to come in for an examination. Come 1:30. I enter the waiting room, get signed in, fill out the normal documentation, so on and so forth. After a few minutes of waiting, the secretary tells me, 'you can go back when you're ready. It'll be 250 dollars for the nail removal, and the follow up visit.' Consider me floored. No beating around the bush, they went right to work in getting me comfortable and ready for the nail removal. Which was just absolutely wonderful. No long and lengthy examinations, no over the top explanation to ingrown nail prevention. Nothing. It was quick, easy and the kindness I was shown by Dr. Daniel Hare of the Orland park office was nothing if not amazing. His bedside manner was flattering, sympathetic, and frankly, he was very patient with me. He answered any questions I had and I just felt reassured that it'd be fine. Turns out it was over before I knew it, and he was finishing up with gauze and bandages. Overall, I have to say the beside manner was incredible, and very comforting. I would highly recommend anyone who worries about their ingrown nails to visit this office. Fast and friendly doctors and fair reasonable prices. 5/5 stars.”
