Realistically speaking cook county is not just one town or two so no one is going to have time to make some kind of personal connection with you. Nobody is being rude, they are just busy at work. HELLO. Anyway, I love the sheriffs here. They are awesome. Super helpful and polite unless, of course, you come off ignorant or disrespectful. Which is understandable.
