  Food is great, beer is warm get a drink instead. The owner/ manager? Was great, he seated us, made sure we were comfortable .

  I'm originally from the north suburbs. I would always go to Hackney's in Glenview, IL. I was really surprised to see a Hackney's in the South suburbs. My husband and I got married 27 years ago and had our wedding reception at Hackney's. Served Hackney burgers and loaves of onion rings. What a great time. Every year on our anniversary, we go to Hackney's for a Hackney burger and a loaf of onion rings. What a great tradition. Thanks Hackney's for our wonderful tradition.

  Great food and pleasant atmosphere! I'm on the younger side of the typical Hackney's crowd, but I really enjoy it here because it's so laid back and relaxed and all the staff are super nice. It's a great place for parties and large groups too. Tons of parking.

  Great staff, sooo friendly! The Reuben sandwich is one of the best in Chicago. They offer big band jazz every Wednesday night at the Palos Park location. It's mostly an older crowd for jazz, but I saw a few tables of younger folks, definitely of the hipster musician variety ????

  Loved the flavorful patty melt - ordered rare and it was slightly too done. Reuben egg rolls must be an acquired taste. Great Cole slaw. Uninformed, apathetic host/cashier. Server was clearly new to the job, but coworkers coached and helped him. Fun antique ambiance! Romantic lighting, cozy.
