(December 15, 2018, 4:25 pm)Loved it here during early winter. Heated rooms, place for campfires right outside your cottage. You can buy wood from them to burn. Bring bed sheets and blankets. I highly recommend 1 or 2 lantern (battery operated) if you plan to cook outside at night.

(November 13, 2018, 8:10 pm)For camping near/in Chicago, it doesn't really get any better than this! We would recommend this as a great first-time camping experience! With the many trails and amenities, Bullfrog Lake is an excellent resource in the Chicago area!

(November 6, 2018, 11:07 am)We just discovered this lake and love it. There is a whole series of hiking, mountain bike and horseback trails that wind their way through this forest preserve. The Lily Pond is relaxing and sits surrounded by forest. Some of the wider trails host cross country skiing in the winter. It is so nice to have some nature so close to the big city.

(July 5, 2018, 10:17 pm)Took my daughter camping here for the first time.. of course it was 100° and severe storms at night but we had a great time fishing and enjoying the rain all night.. Guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly.
