(July 17, 2018, 9:06 am)The SSV is a wonderful multi-ethnic, multi-cultural church. These are real Jesus followers who want to do life as Jesus did. The teachings are Bible based and practical for today. The worship is modern and easy to follow. And my kids love the lessons and activities in kid's church. We are growing in our relationships with Jesus and other believers here.

(July 11, 2018, 12:41 am)I truly Love this church!!! No not the actual building but the individuals lol. They are more like family than just fellow Christian because they stick with you as you sort out the darkness that can overwhelm you and they never judge. So glad to call the SSV my home!

I appreciate how people take seriously the difficult challenges of Jesus, but do so with grace and humility. Real people dealing with the real challenges of life. I and my family have grown beyond measure because of our time with the SSV.
If you're looking for a church that values people from all walks of life, a place that will nurture your children, and a place that will challenge (and support) you on your journey with Jesus, the SSV is the place for you!

Pastors Geno and Shannon Olison moved to the Homewood-Flossmoor area from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois in June of 2009 to start the South Suburban Vineyard Church. Since that time, they, along with a fabulous team of individuals have been building a church from the ground up.
