Although I miss Dr Morgan and I hope he’s having a wonderful, well-deserved retirement, Dr Bartek has filled the space nicely in my yearly (for over 15 years) visits. Michelle, as always, does a great job helping to pick out new glasses and explaining what my insurance coverage provides for. I wouldn’t take my business for 15+ years to a place I didn’t enjoy visiting and love supporting. You’re a number to the Target and LensCrafters of the world, but here you’re a name, a face, and a story.
I found myself in a emergency situation this weekend and after reading the reviews I made a call to the Illinois Eye Center. The ladies were very nice and accommodating. I’m sure they heard the distress and panic in my voice. Their calming voice helped alleviate some of my stress. Dr. Assell was there ready and able to diagnose my eye issues with a caring expert voice, as he explained in details what was happening, along with a plan to resolve the issue. I highly recommend the Illinois Eye Care Center
Absolutely the BEST customer service and I didn’t even go to this location. I called because I had a question in regards to my mothers significant eye issue. I am not sure who I spoke to but she wrote down word for word the issues my mom was having and made sure to speak to the doctor about the concerns. When it had been a few hours, she called to inform me that she has not spoken to the doctor but she didn’t want me to think she’s forgotten about me. I find that to be so professional and shows that they truly care about their potential customers. She called me back shortly after to confirm that they would be able to help my mom and squeezed us in that evening. The doctor was great and was very knowledgeable with my moms situation. I highly recommend and would even go myself just for an eye exam. I would give this a thousand stars if I could!!!
The staff at the Hoffman Estate IL Eye Care Center are exceptional people who truly care about the patients who come in for eye exams and eyeglass selections. They have taken great measures to ensure our safety during this difficult time of the COVID-19 but did not allow these measures to impact their attention to each individual. Their kindness and friendly manners go a long way to making people feel welcome and valued. Thank you for your service to the community.

Dr. Assell was fantastic with my reluctant 3 year old getting her to point at pictures in the depth perception test and getting her to do tasks she really wasn't interested in.
