Volkening Lake

Great place to spend part of the day. Great walking path around the lake which is about 3/4 a mile. Benches scattered around path to sit and relax while admiring the view. Outdoor workout facility is not extensive, but enough to get a little workout in. Paddle boats and canoes available for rental on the weekends are a nice way to get out on the water. Nice firefighter/police memorial is close nearby and definitely worth a look.

kayak was funn $12 for an hr did the tandem(2person kayak) lake is great size very safe . they also have pedal boat. afterwards we used the free outdoor exercise equipment.

Really pretty lake to come and walk at. My wife and I enjoyed it!

Very beautiful lake, nice place to come with family for picnic. They also have boats here in summer, a small place designated for work out with equipments, and a small sand area for kids to play. The tulips make the sitting place even more beautiful!

A small pond next to the Schaumburg police station. A nice place to take a stroll or bike with family. Nothing too unique, but there is an outside basic workout gym right at the entrance of the lake next to the parking lot.
