  The Shrimp were fantastic and the two ladies that work there were very nice. We really enjoyed it. Even though its pretty far from us we would definitely go back there

  By far, this hidden gem serves the best seafood, chicken wings and chicken tenders in Illinois! The food is fresh, delicious and of high quality, unlike your standard greasy spoon. This place is worth the ride regardless to which side of town live it. Check out their Wednesday specials...yummy! I promise that you will love The Shack!

  Everytime I come here the food is good and fresh.The prices are very reasonable. The young lady at the counter is always nice and friendly. Never a long wait for your food. The jumbo shrimp are awesome. If you want good service, fresh food, and great service this is the place to come.

  The gulf shrimp at The Shack is the best I've EVER had. It's better than what I've had in FL, and I'm not exaggerating. Their jumbo shrimp are truly gigantic. I've jokingly said they're the size of chicken wings, but they really are that big.
  
  I love the breading because it's light, crisp, and has just the right blend of seasonings. The shrimp are juicy, flavorful, and the texture is phenomenal. You can tell these are top-quality fresh shrimp.
  
  If you love seafood you HAVE to try The Shack. Their prices are very fair. I couldn't buy the shrimp and make the meal myself for what they charge, and it wouldn't be as good.
