(November 8, 2018, 2:24 pm)they are so nice put handcuff on softly new cars scent and very fashionable uniform i must say would recommend to be arrested again by lansing police and also they buy you a whopper jr with some coffee a 5 star meal if ya get hungry i suggested ya get arrested to enjoy the meal the provide you and there service ????????

(November 3, 2018, 9:23 pm)I have had more than a couple of instances that required me to interact with the Lansing Police department. They have always been kind, courteious, and professional. They respond quickly when called. Even when the was a domestic situation going on in my parking lot. The officer spoke to both parties in a professional manner and was able to have them move on without any incident. I was afraid they would arrest the young man. Even though the lady was the one hitting and cursing him. The officer was very level head and showed respect to all parties. By the end everyone was able to walk away and live their life. I have not had a bad experience with Lansing PD (let's hope I never will)

(September 27, 2018, 10:22 pm)They always respond even to the dumb calls, I've never had any problems with the police. It's a shame most of the comments here are based on one cop and not the department. If you look at the reviews it will tell you people are only leaving bad ratings to diminish the department.

From calling for help either catching or picking up a stray I've caught, large groups of unruly people, my neighbors needing a well being check, and check on a car sitting in front of my house for over a half hour at 10:30 at night. This is only a short list of my dealings with them but while all have been friendly they were not all iniated by me.

(October 26, 2017, 10:54 pm)I called the non-emergency number because my back door was ajar. I wasn't sure if I forgot to close it or if someone tried to get in. The two officers that responded were very professional and concern for my well being. They checked my house, while I stayed outside, and made sure everything was secure.
I was very grateful for their swift response and compassion for my obvious frazzled state. I have always had great a great experience with police officers in Lansing and today was no exception. I have been a member of this community for 8 years.
