  First time here and it was packed but as soon as a table came available we was seated and treated well. Food and mimosas was very good. Waitress was nice and owner spoke welcoming and thanking us for dining there. Great place to eat. I will return whenever I can. Money well spent!

  The food was amazing. The wait staff were professional & patience. I would definitely recommend this place. My only complaint was the shrimp & grits was a small portion compared to similar establishments.

  My first time at Love On The Blu was a beautiful experience. So much culture. Great food. I felt the southern hospitality with the staff. My family and I had the awesome privilege of have Sheba as our waitress. She was fun. She really knew the menu items and was very helpful in helping us make very good choices. The music was enriching to the spirit and soul as we listened to R&B and oldies.
  It’s so nice to have this black owned establishment on the far south side
  I highly recommend spending your time and money to support this business.

  So this was my second time coming here. I went last year in October on a Wednesday morning so it wasn't packed but the food and customer service was amazing. I was very happy about that because before I went I looked at the reviews. I'm really happy it didn't sway my decision. Fast forward, I came here today which is a Saturday AND Sweetest Day so I was expecting there to be an extremely long wait time and poor service because it was a weekend. Although I still had to wait, it wasn't unbearable and I had the opportunity to wait at the bar. The bartender was very hospitable and later on she sung (she had an amazing voice). I'm not sure if this woman was the owner but she stopped by while I was there and explained that she was just stopping by to check in and stated that today was her daughter's birthday. My experience today was great. I'm so happy I don't listen to the reviews all the time. There was a diverse crowd but it still felt like I was surrounded by family..very intimate setting and i can't wait to go back. BTW, food was good and my boo liked his food as well. It was a relief b/c this was his first time coming here so it was a gamble.

  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. We went Sunday for brunch and had one of thee BEST times creating new memories. We were a party of 18 and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Kenyatta was a Star, attentive, informative and made our experience lively. They have a plethora of choices, scrumptious goodness in every bite and a comfy cozy feel you only get around family. You know someone's granny or aunt was in the kitchen cooking. You will not be disappointed and will start looking at your calendar to see when you can come again.
