First time homeowner and really had no idea about carpets, padding or flooring and most of all costs. A family member suggested Key, so I tried them. John helped me on the sales floor. He asked me all the right questions, educated me on the different types of flooring and what were the +/- of each type. He guided me through carpet selection and quality that was best for my needs and budget (at this point we never mentioned an actual dollar amount, just that i had to be mindful in my purchase). He set up a day to come out and measure. When I went back to him his price was much less than I was expecting. I also got a bix box store quote that was twice the cost without installation and a brand I never heard of. My contractor also recommend a "carpet guy" who did some work on the side for him. His side job price was the same as Key. To be honest I was going with Key carpets from the beginning because they were so easy to work with and they knew their business well. When I placed my order I upgraded the quality just because the price was so good i had enough room in my budget to go top of the line.
The installers came a week later as scheduled and they were very nice and professional. They took plenty of time to install and cleaned up after the job was finished. The carpeting looks amazing! I couldn't be any happier!
