“The first time I met Dr. Verghese was after delivering my daughter. She was covering for the doctor I was originally recommended to see by my ob. I decided I would follow up with her since she had originally seen my daughter at the hospital. I am soooo glad I did. She took her time with us. She answered all my questions before I could even ask. She also informed me on information I didn't think to ask. She even helped coach me with breast feeding. She told my husband what he could do to help as well. She also advised me that I might feel overwhelmed, but encouraged me to ask for help. She went above and beyond in patient care. She truly cares about her patients and parents. The office is a little outdated, but the staff is friendly and Dr. Verghese is well worth going to.”

My mom had hip surgery and Wishing Well Home Care was one of the local home care companies recommended in my mom's discharge packet. We met with representatives from about five companies and felt most comfortable with WWHC. We had never been in the market for a caregiver before and didn't even know what questions to ask. Peggy was very patient and a wealth of information during our initial meeting. She really knows her stuff! We met a number of caregivers and found a perfect fit for my mom, who was extremely hesitant about this whole process to begin with. Maggie is compassionate, reliable and feels like one of the family. She lives a couple of miles from my mom's home, so we are happy that she is nearby especially during these Chicago winters. I would highly recommend Wishing Well Home Care without reservation!”
