“Very nice YMCA with lots of options. Fitness equipment is in very good condition and looks to be well taken off. A couple platforms with racks for the heavy weight lifters. Locker rooms are dated, yet include a sauna and steam room. Two midsize pools along with a very nice large play area for children. Great area for gymnastics along with three basketball courts and an elevated running track. Two functioning racket ball courts along with several others that have been converted to various types of studios. The building is a bit choppy and as first-time visitors it was a challenge to find certain areas. Staff was very friendly and overall a very pleasant atmosphere.”

“This is an amazing place. Just go. My 11 year old son started coming to the kids strength, agility, and speed class in September. He was super out of shape as a result of COVID - before the pandemic he was a super active, healthy kid. Two full time working parents meant a lot of screens, stay at home orders meant no playing with friends, and even our neighborhood swings were zip tied. Fast forward a year and he still hadn’t regained his athleticism. Enter Body Shop and their wonderful coaches. In three months, he has gone from not being able to run to running for fun, from not being able to see muscles in his body to asking what the definition in his legs is, from me having to secretly stretch out his husky sized shirts to him fitting in all his clothes. We are complete body acceptance people in my house and would NEVER fat shame him. At the same time, his life is so much more full now that he is “sportsing” again. And what started as a fun time for him with friends is now just a thing he does because he loves it, regardless of whether anyone else goes. He wants to play football next year and sees this as training. There are days he knows he will be the only one in class and it’s not a problem for him. Thank you, Body Shop! I truly believe you brought something back for my son that was lost during the pandemic, and which I wasn’t sure would ever return.”
