“Marcela's Zumba classes are the best! She is super high energy and the workout is tough (I'm not going to lie). If you take a class (which I highly recommend) be prepared to sweat! BUT... it is CRAZY fun! Time flies when you're having fun, so believe it or not the class goes by super fast. Now, I have done a handful of Zumba classes in my time, and it would be safe to say that "I have two left feet". That being said, I feel very comfortable in this class and believe that there is no one there passing judgements. In fact, I feel that some of her regulars (or simply better Zumba practitioners) are actually very supportive of the people such as my self that have a hard time keeping up. Marcela really fosters a "do what you can at a pace you are comfortable with" atmosphere. In fact, she mentions that multiple times throughout the class. Of course she pushes you to get the most out of you, but is also very careful to ensure no one is doing anything dangerous. I saw her talking to an older woman with bad knees and giving her the business for pushing to hard. If you keep going to her classes, you will definitely see improvements! I have gotten significantly better since I began, and have even been told so by a handful of the regulars. She also regularly offers deals, so I highly recommend joining her newsletter. You get discounts, member only freebies, and stuff emailed to you regularly. Best Zumba classes around, hands down!”
