“Pros: One of those hidden gems that make me appreciate brick and mortar storefronts as opposed to ordering everything online. Really great selection of unique and interesting STEM activities, projects, experiments and games. Mostly geared towards people aged 0-18, but honestly there were a number of items any adult would enjoy. I purchased a soapstone carving kit for a brainy scientist I’m friends with. I couldn’t figure out what to get him for Christmas and the owner of the store suggested it. I think he’ll love it. The owner knows her stock very well. I felt like I was having a curated experience based on my interests, rather than just being sold a line of goods. Excellent customer service. Cons: I wish the storefront were more obvious from down the mall corridor. I thankfully found the place from the mall directory, but what the store is and sells isn’t obvious from the name. I think a lot of people may pass by this gem without knowing what it is.”

“I had an extraordinary experience at Aura Family Dental. The dentist and the dental hygienist were very patient and kind, just beautiful people. I was so scared as I have neglected my teeth. They asked if I would like some background music. I loved that because it was exactly what I needed something to calm my mind. They built a plan for me after my initial appointment and I need a lot of work done. I will certainly be coming to Aura for every bit of it. “I have long loved this bookstore for its selection of mysteries and histories. While I'm not a Sherlock Holmes guy, there's plenty for those who are fans. The shop is cozy and inviting, and it has long held the most extensive collection of those historical coloring books for kids. The owners do a terrific job of cultivating local authors, sponsoring countless events and contributing much to the Forest Park scene.”

“This was the second time I've needed plumbing services in 2 years and each time this firm exceeds my expectations. Last year my old sump pump finally failed so I called Ridge and they responded very promptly. They gave me a very reasonable quote before they came out and adhered to this fair price , especially for the the work and time they invested. This is a father-son business and they treated me like family too.. Besides the pump and back up, they checked my other ejector pump in the basement and explained how each worked and basic maintenance. This weekend, the basement toilet didn't flush and the cause was a malfunction to the ejector pump which had overflowed a little. I discovered this Friday night about 8 pm while we were getting the house ready for a large family party on Saturday. With so many people invited, I couldn't easily put an Out of Order sign on the bathroom door. Within 5 minutes of my evening call, the son, Mark, called me back and scheduled an appointment 1st thing Saturday morning . He drained the pump well and replaced the float switch as promised, quickly, and he quoted a very, very reasonable price before he came out. I couldn't have been more pleased, which prompted me to write this review this time, since this service reminded me of their last service call . Now, Ridge Plumbing is my plumbing guys.”

The Concierge service - and John Baron in particular have been in touch every step of the way since my first frantic call for help figuring out the logistics of this move. It has been incredible. My sons' cross-country move to Chicago was handled on that end by the Midway location and GM Elliott who personally handled the delivery of their 8 footer to 2 different apartments in Lincoln Park. Again, he was in touch, incredibly helpful, kind and and responsive. A+++++ Would never consider a u-haul or any other such thing ever again. Thank you!”

“I am pleased with Edge Pest Control. I was recommended to them by a family member. I have been a member since July 2021. I originally called due to concern about a wasp nest outside one of the bedroom windows. I was convinced to get a service plan to treat the entire house. Although we only had spiders and centipedes and sometimes ants, I decided to try the service. We have seen fewer of these pests. During my recent service, the service tech Dave was very thorough with his inspection and treatment. He pointed out a few structure issues for us to monitor and possibly address at a later time. In fact, one of the issues the Edge was able to fix – replacing a dryer vent cover to ensure that our home stays pest-free. The next day Dakota came to do this work. Both of these service techs were professional, kind, and considerate. They didn’t just call to say they were on their way to provide service but asked if I had any concerns or questions. I give the Edge Pest Control a high five!”
