Sybaris Downers Grove

Clean and comfortable. Lots of mirrors, enough hot water to fill the large whirlpool. The swing over the bed was AMAZING. A lot of extras too like toothbrushes, toothpaste and robes. I would definitely live to visit again. Yes, it was a little dated, but if you're spending time looking at the decor when there's mirrors, dimming lights, and a swing I'm sorry for you.

Pool was excellent very relaxing, whirlpool was so soothing with bubbles. Some say the rooms are small but truly how much room do you really need to me it was just right. It was the BEST Christmas Eve we have ever had.

This place is awesome. We had the room with the pool in it and it was an amazing and unique experience. The wife and I had a great time - bed was really comfortable and room was updated and clean. Location sucks, but you never leave your room so who cares 😉

Most romantic getaway!!

My boyfriend & I have 7 kids between the two of us & a hectic back & forth schedule, so getting away is hard.

We were hopeful about Sybaris & we’re NOT disappointed!! The room was lovely, with a big comfy bed & even comfier pillows with lush carpet & the ability to control/dim all the lights in the room, and a stereo system that was playing love songs when we walked in. We fell asleep under the “stars.” The massage chair was really nice, too. Might be cool to have 2 of them, but it’s not a complaint. The mini fridge kept our drinks super cold.
The bathroom was nice & clean with a great shower & plenty of towels.
But the paradise pool suite was MAGNIFICENT!!! It looked exactly like the photos on the website. It was absolutely breathtaking. We LOVED the ability to turn the jets on in the pool & sit on the seat/bench built into the pool. The waterfall was…so beautiful it’s hard to describe.
There was a little two-person table in the pool room where we ate a romantic dinner we Door Dashed. We enjoyed relaxed in the roomy hot tub.
We tried the steam room but we visited in mid-June and it was oppressively hot outside already, so we decided the pool was more our speed.
There were lots of towels (the fancy folding just delighted my boyfriend) everywhere which was really convenient.
We loved our stay & wished we would have tried it sooner and booked more than one night. Completely worth every single penny!!

The stay, was excellent.
My wife and I had great time.
Room was clean and staff was friendly and very helpful.
I would have given it 5 stars, but it could use some updates. Like it has two TVs one in bed room one in the room with pool.
Pool tv didn’t work. Would be nice to been able to watch will swimming. Also could use some minor things like the floor was letting off in some places and it’s like walking on loose rocks. More places to hand towels and robes would be great as well. Minor things.
Overall was a great stay my wife and enjoyed it all things provided like toiletries, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, and body wash.
Would recommend to all couples for a romantic get away. 2nights are better then 1.
