TK Gym Four Lakes

  I moved in two months ago and was looking for another gym to exercise so I could cancel my membership from the previous gym I was in. The first day I came in I felt the place was welcoming and the equipment looked top notch. I told the owner I was only going to use the treadmill and he encouraged me (never forced) to use the weights and other equipment to better myself. Little by little I've been using all of the equipment and when there were any questions on how to use a machine Eric would teach me how to use it and show me alternative workouts to work myself up to using the machines properly without injuring myself. Now, whenever I have a question to ask, I can rely on Eric's honesty on any new workouts I want to implement into my day to day workouts to see if it will benefit on my goals I want to achieve ever since I joined the gym. Plus I never have to wait for the equipment, so I can Concentrate on my workouts without delay.

  Love this place. It has everything i need. It is 100% a 5 star gym for me. However, others may not feel this way as there aren't locker rooms, towels, or showers. If you're like me and just show up in your gear, work out then leave and shower at home, this is your place.

  I have lived at four lakes for awhile now and plan to stay. I wanted to have a place to workout out for the winter. I have been going to TK for about a month and I love everything about it. Not a lot of people workout here so it is never crowded. Eric is great and always friendly. My only gripe is that the gym is not 24/7, but the hours are long enough during the day that I have not really found it inconvenient.

  Love this gym. I have been with Xport for over a decade and came across this place. I come here instead now. I hate having to wait for equipment at xport. This gym is more private and not crowded. Spoke to Eric and he really knows his stuff. Got a few training sessions with him and they are by far the best. It has corrected my form and fixed my weaknesses. I have had a herniated disc with sciatica for a long time now. My back has improved by 70% now. No gimmicks or sales people trying to sell you something here. Even if you wanted to train you'd be lucky if he has time. He puts so much effort into planning the session and pays attention to every move you make.
  best thing is they have a lot of different equipment that most gyms do not have.

  I am new to Four Lakes, so I’m still learning all about it. Spoke to Eric about signing up for a gym membership and personal training. Let me just say i was a member at XSPORT fitness for more then 6 years, i was a member at LA Fitness and had multiple different trainers NOT 1 trainer is even close to Eric’s level of knowledge and passion of what he does. Eric spent about an hour of his time just explaining and telling me all about his sessions and how everything works, but this review is not just about that. 2 days ago i woke up with a terrible Terrible stiff neck, i just could not turn to the right and if i tried i was in hell. I tried fixing it on my own watching Youtube videos, taking Advil, making a long trip to Streamwood (up north) for a neck massage ???????? all in hopes to get rid of the annoying pain. That same day i was supposed meet with Eric to go over the plan and do a short physical, i messaged Eric later that day saying I couldn’t make it because of the pain. Eric told me to stop in and that he will try to help me. Little did i know Eric is a magician ... in about 45 min i could painlessly turn and tilt my head left and right if not 360. In that whole magical process Eric was explaining what each muscle does and where it is... i can go on and on about this, lets just say i am honestly extremely happy that Four Lakes has Eric and the gym, Eric fixed my neck!!! I will definitely be signing up soon!
