Bellas Artes School of Music

I can’t say enough how much we love the staff at this music school. My 7yr old daughter has thrived and loves taking lessons here. In fact, she is even asking to learn a second instrument! If you are looking for a wonderful place for your child (or yourself) to learn music, or take voice lessons, I wouldn’t look anywhere else! They are also very VERY accommodating to our Sabbath(Shabbat) when it comes to planning performances. They really go above and beyond to support families!
The prices seem about the same as most places, not too expensive but not cheap. Right in the middle. Worth every penny!

We are so pleased with the entire operation at Bellas Artes. My two children both attend lessons with Joshua - and he meets their distinct personalities and skill levels to guide them with joy. I can't say enough how well he works with both kids, who couldn't be more different. I appreciate that he focuses on enjoying music and enjoying MAKING music, not just the technicalities of learning the instrument.

I HATED piano lessons as a child - both of my kids look forward to their lessons. They both voluntarily play throughout the day, which was my biggest dream for when they started lessons.

Even through remote learning during COVID-19, the office, staff, and instructors were kind, patient, optimistic, and beyond helpful. They haven't missed a beat in adjusting to our current "normal" due to COVID.

My sons recently participated in the Bellas Artes Jazz camp, and had a BLAST! They both came home laughing, talkative, challenged, and inspired. We loved listening to their conversation about camp, almost as much as they loved the experience of jazz camp.
My daughter is a beginning trumpet student. Throughout her first months of study, she has been excited and engaged. We have not had to remind her to practice, or encourage her to persevere. Her lessons with David have consistently offered her all the intellectual, musical, and emotional support she needs to remain motivated.
Overall, we love Bellas Artes, and are very, very thankful our kids have each found ways to participate.

Bellas Artes School of Music has been a wonderful experience for our family. We are so grateful for the community of Bellas Artes leaders, teachers and fellow students. For seven years we have joyfully watched our violinist and all of the musicians at Bellas Artes grow and learn. Thank you for a great atmosphere for students, families, and teachers to engage in music that enriches our souls.

Teachers offer specialized learning without being overly performance-driven. They encourage excellence yet work to maximize each student's unique giftings. They accomodate children with special needs in a compassionate and gracious learning space. We are beyond grateful for this school of music where 4 of our children are flourishing!
