(June 9, 2018, 6:33 pm)Nice walking, biking, horseback loop of about 2.5 miles connect to regional through trails. Blind and 2 overlooks of open water make good waterfowl viewing during migration. Benches every half mile to one mile.

(May 16, 2018, 8:44 pm)This preserve has several observations points to help get a better look at the marsh. It's also nice that path goes all the way around the preserve, making it a great place to come for a walk/run or bike ride.
I've seen heron, red winged blackbirds, yellow warblers, woodpeckers, ducks, geese, deer, and a beaver here.
