(November 8, 2018, 12:41 pm)My wife and I went here with our son for a quick dinner and loved it. Amazing decor, the server was super great and kind. He got us a high chair for our son and even got him some mini quesadillas for him. The food was outstanding, FRESH and full over flavor. Great candle lighting and music. A bit pricy but hey, this isn't Taco Bell people. You pay a bit extra for awesome food and great experience! Will be back!

After finding out from a food blog that Al Chulo was VOTED TOP 10 FUSION RESTAURANTS IN ILLINOIS TAPAS STYLE DINNERS + CRAFT COCKTAILS, it was on my must-try list. We arrived at 520is for 530 reservation. The restaurant had 4 table occupied and by the time we left at 7 the restaurant was completely packed. We were surprised with the appetizer, and dinner The prices are right for high-quality Mexican food. A great variety of items both on the dinner menu as well as on the beverage page. Fabulous cocktails and freshly made. I highly recommend this place to anyone, hungry for a fusion Mexican meal. Check out the pictures associated with this review.

(September 5, 2018, 11:20 am)Love love love Al Chulo! My husband and I live nearby and went in on a whim one day and are so glad that we did. The service is excellent and the food is SO tasty. Both the food and the drinks are made with fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere too, very chill. Would highly recommend for a date night or an adult group dinner

(August 24, 2018, 8:03 pm)Great food. The Sopes are amazing. The texture is perfect, just a little crispy on the outside, and nice and soft inside. Had the Nopales ones which were unique and delicious. Also had the Al Pastor tacos which were quite excellent.
Small and out of the way, this place was a fun find.
