Kline Creek Farm living history museum

Fun outdoor learning activities. Daughter took a class in pretzel making while we learned about sheep shearing and played old time games. Saw horses and learned about farming life. Also visited the honey hut and learned about how honey is made & harvested

1890's working farm. Great place for children. They have chickens, cows, horses, sheep and in summer pigs. Children are invited to help with farm chores (gathering eggs, or cleaning out hen house). Check schedule for activities (sheep sharing, blacksmith, horse carrige rides). There are picinic tables to eat at and bathrooms. The parking and farm are free. There are also tours of the farm house.

What a great venue for experiencing historic farm life. Chickens and turkeys roaming the grounds. Real farming still being done, the earth is gritty so leave the dress shoes at home. Farmhouse is preserved more like a museum bit they do have bits to engage the kids as well. Staff dedicated and ready to share their deep knowledge of the farm and historic way of life.

Excellent place for the entire family! It provides opportunities for a hands on experience about life in the late 1800's. Children get to collect wood, feed chickens and other activities. And it is free!

My 3 year old grandson enjoyed it. The kids can get reasonably close to the animals and there are plenty of tours and talks to keep older children interested. The people who work there are engaged and helpful and generally seem to care. Bring a stroller for little legs because it is spread out and a bit of walking is required. I saw wheelchair accessible ramps where needed.
