“Unbelievably gorgeous store. Probably the best grocery store I have ever been to. Amazing bouquet of 2 dozen multicolor roses for $8. Sushi bar, olive bar, trail mix bar, smoothie bar, and a Starbucks inside. Ready to go dinners, subs and pizza. Huge selection of beers. Super nice and helpful pharmacist. The only issue I had is that the basil plants were frost bitten. ”

“I have used Heritage for my automotive needs for over 30 years. They continue to be one of the best service departments I have ever used. My recent visit for routine service continues to show service is a priority. First, the place is really clean. No grease outside the working area. The waiting area has comfortable furniture, snacks and is quiet. The service advisors are knowledgeable and don’t try to sell you service that is not needed. They understand what a car needs and can quickly figure out what your car needs beyond routine maintenance. In short, one of the things that brings me back to this dealership, although I now live 30 miles away is the service department. They finished my car in about two thirds of the estimated time.”

“I took guitar with Jay for nearly three years along with my dad before moving away, and he taught me everything I know about how to play the guitar. I learned from scratch from Jay, not being able to play a note, and while I'm no instant expert or rock star yet, I never thought I would be able to play this well or would have guitar become this much an important part of my life before having taken lessons from Jay. Jay is an extremely laid back individual, very fun to talk to and get to know, and he's a great guitar player as well as a solid songwriter with his own catalog of albums. But he attended music school and has a background in music theory, so he'll teach you music as well as how to play the guitar. It's something to know when starting to take lessons should you initially find it a little slow or immediately want to learn a song, but it's worth the wait because it will really enrich your playing later. What Jay will teach you is stuff you can't find online from quick YouTube tutorials. And yet he will rock out with you in jam sessions and teach you blues, songs, soloing and technique. Let him know what you want to learn and he will listen and help you out and answer questions, often with elaborate detail. His prices are reasonable and he's a great option if you live in the Western Chicago suburbs. Jay operates out of a basement in a suburb home, but don't let that throw you, as he often records bands down there as well and has produced some great results. If it weren't for moving away, I'd still be taking lessons, and I'm going to miss spending my Mondays with Jay!”

“Our daughter began flute lessons with Eileen Heise her sophomore year in high school. Her skills improved significantly to the point of her becoming first flute in her high school symphonic band. Eileen worked with her on piccolo as well, culminating in giving her the confidence to perform the solo in Stars and Stripes Forever in her final high school concert. She has since gone on to be chosen for her Big Ten college marching band. Not only is Eileen skilled in passing on her musical talents and enthusiasm, she also includes her students in special performances and activities. These were wonderful at further building our daughter's confidence, while teaching team work and leadership skills. In sort, Eileen is an inspiring teacher with great results and is a delight to work with.”
