“Excellent service and extremely competent people at this company! They were the third HVAC contractor that I contacted. The other two casually inspected the AC and gave me insane quotes (one suggested that I change the entire AC unit at a cost of over $4K). The inspector from this company spent time trying to figure out what was really going on with the AC. It turns out the unit was fine, but extreme condensation in the attic was tripping a safety switch. Yes, diagnosing this involved going to the attic, which the other two companies did not do. Anyways, the repair was extremely simple, the unit is working great (I waited one month before posting this review), and they are now my go-to guys for future AC repairs. Very knowledgeable, and hard working... highly recommended!”

“Schroeder's ACE Hardware is a LOMBARD institution. They have an extensive inventory, with more variety than "big box stores" (BBS), and knowledgeable people to sell it to you. Recently went into BBS looking for waterproofing spray for my tarps and was told "didn't carry any" by 2 people wearing headsets talking to 1 other. That is except for the 3 different locations I found it in, including an aisle capper. They had 96 cans! Meanwhile back at Schroeder's, They filled my order for 12 ea. Chrome, and 12 ea. Stainless of 31 different sizes of screws and didn't miss a beat!”
