“Schroeder's ACE Hardware is a LOMBARD institution. They have an extensive inventory, with more variety than "big box stores" (BBS), and knowledgeable people to sell it to you. Recently went into BBS looking for waterproofing spray for my tarps and was told "didn't carry any" by 2 people wearing headsets talking to 1 other. That is except for the 3 different locations I found it in, including an aisle capper. They had 96 cans! Meanwhile back at Schroeder's, They filled my order for 12 ea. Chrome, and 12 ea. Stainless of 31 different sizes of screws and didn't miss a beat!”

“Love this place, my family of 6 is always treated like............FAMILY!. The food is great! The severs are great! The food is always hot and plentiful. The prices are very competitive. This is our go to restaurant, if it is a for just a cup of soup or a skirt steak dinner, you won't find it done better anywhere else. We don't see much turnover, every time we walk in there is always a familiar and friendly face from the waitresses to the bus boys. That speaks for itself.
