At the first meeting, he told me to clear out my brain of everything I had ever learned or tried for weight loss. He said that the addiction to food was no different than alcoholism or drugs because we receive the same high and when we have to have chocolate or pizza or any other high carbo high sugar food, we have taken midnight rides to a 24 hour store to get it.
