This is a place where it is so calm and peaceful, night time is much more peaceful because you get to hear owls, animals singing til they fall asleep. But one thing I encountered was this: I was walking on the main trail, going back and forth. I stopped under a tree and suddenly an animal was above me, waiting to attack me by jumping down on me. Well, that little guy ran away when I pulled my flashlight. ???? Too funny... Just too funny. I go the woods A LOT. But I do have one complain, I want to tell them to please fix the sign that tells you the names of the trails and how it is.

Park is nice the pond has been drained though and the north side of the tow path is closed. The canal is empty after having a wall collapse during unusual flooding but it's not global warming because the president said that global warming is a hoax.

    Nice community.
Fun little place to enjoy the views and they have boat & wave runner ramps. The bridge is a fun ride over too.

Camped out with my goddaughter. It's nothing fancy but it's a beautiful space and it's right near home. Can't beat it for $6 a night! We had the whole place to ourselves and the field was beautiful with lightning bugs. The fire rings have the adjustable grill tops, the bathrooms are clean but basic (no running water). Camping is carry-in so pack light (we used a wagon to haul our gear).
