Took my truck to Sam's because the transfer case or driveshaft was making some noise. Sam checked the transfer case and said it was fine. He removed the driveshaft and found that the u-joints were in good shape, just needed some cleaning and grease. While he had my truck up on the lift, he found the source of an ongoing oil leak. Sam completed all the work for a fraction of what I thought it was going to cost. Great guy, great service!
The staff at Sam's Transmissions is courteous and professional. Sam, the owner, is a great guy and will make sure your car is done correctly the first time
Sam was so straight forward and honest when assessing my vehicle. He and his team worked diligently to assess the issues quickly and took the time to explain everything that was going on. I know they say there aren't any honest mechanics, but Sam is one of the few and I definitely appreciate him taking the time to explain everything to me!
Purchased a used transmission and had it shipped to Sams. They performed a remove and replace within a few days. Car drives like new for half the cost of a rebuild. Thanks!
I have a 2003 Chevy Express with 185000 miles on it. I took it to Sams Transmission Shop to have both the rear engine seal and front seal to the trans replaced on the advice of my normal go to mechanic. Sam's guys did the deed which meant removing the transmission giving access to both seals. At the end of the day, there is no leakage. It took a second visit to re-torque the bolts on a reservoir pan but Sam stood by his word and I have call him an honorable business owner. I have my own business and I do know what it means. I recommend them because they stand by their service.
