  This place has a warm and cozy environment. Great atmosphere with a large wood burning fireplace. The menu is expansive with offerings for all palates and price poibts. Wonderful cocktail and dessert menu! Their root beer cookie dessert is heavenly. Every time we go, the service is excellent. Highly recommend this place!

  My boyfriend and i go there for our anniversary every year. This year we of course went again and the food was just as amazing as i remembered it. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what is on the menu. Amazing atmosphere and delicious drinks and food. We can’t wait to go back again next year!

  It was my first time here and have heard great things over the years; just could never find an excuse to get out to The Turf Room. A friend and I met for lunch and my gosh I was blown away. The building itself was beautiful inside. I love all the little lamps with flames and of course the fireplace in the center with seating all around. I feel like I typically go conservative on my first meal when trying a new restaurant. I went with the club sandwich and was more than pleased with the portion size as well as the quality of the meats. I started off with a lobster bisque soup and was a bit nervous. It showed up in a cup with a very little amount of what looked like some lobster meat; as the server explained a little more, she poured the soup in the cup and instructed us to stir it up. My friends... if you only order 1 thing ever at this place; I assure you that you must try this soup. The lobster bisque was phenomenally fantastic. My friend and I gushed over the flavor and taste for what seemed like the entire meal. I'm not trying to take away from the well-made sandwich, but try the soup and you'll understand why my review is written this way.

  I have always liked coming here. The food is great. The service is very good and attentive. The drinks are made and poured well. Great selection of beer, wine and also the OTB side! Even if you're not hungry you can still grab a drink and sit fireside to enjoy it.
