Great place to ride! Suspension bridge sways and was a little scary for the horses, but was really fun and we will be back again! Wish the parking specified horse trailer parking, but there is a nice turn around.

Love this place. Real cool lake and a high point next to it for some distant views on a good day. Also there's a path that leads to the campground down the way.

Campground has amazing tent sites that are pushed back enough into the woods for just a bit a privacy. The rest of the place is for RVs, but the tent sites are amazing and underused... Which is perfect

Lovely preserve with almost clear lake. A great place for a relaxing walk or to see some peaceful nature. Have seen many kayak or canoe here. Highly recommend

This is a nice local forest preserve with a variety of trails. There are bathrooms located at both parking lots. There is large quarry located here which is stocked but it is strictly catch and release. It is patrolled so have your fishing license with you. They do allow kayaks and canoes but no motors. They do not allow swimming at all. Enjoy!

Very nice area tucked away in the middle of farm country. Great place to go fishing (catch and release) Parking is a little bit far from where you can fish and access trails/walking paths but not too bad. Great place to get away and unwind from the everyday hustle. Make sure your GPS is accurate or you might miss the entrance. I definitely recommend for the outdoor enthusiast!
