I have been a patient of Dr. Ackerman for over 20 years. She has performed cataract surgery and a capsulotomy, most recently, on my right eye. During the latter procedure, she quickly scheduled the procedure at St Alexis in Hoffman Estates, while easily accommodating my schedule. With both of these procedures, she visited me before and after them explaining the procedure and follow-up steps. As a doctor, she is very professional while maintaining a fine doctor/patient relationship showing concern and kindness.
Dr. Ackermann is pleasant and thorough. She is concerned for her patients and I am grateful to have been a patient of hers before I moved out of state.
