After a traumatic year of caring for my ill father, then his passing, then handling all his affairs, for some reason I was just tired, weary, in a mental fog, just not myself. When I got the email showing the Much More Conference, I felt like this was God telling me to get up and go!! I attended by myself, knowing no one here would remember me, when all of a sudden I walked right into two very special sisters in Christ!!! I sat with them and listened to every word from the stage!! Those ladies were really entering my heart and by the end of the night I knew God sent me here to shut that door and resume walking toward His path again!! What an awesome God inspiring night!!!!

Empowerment through unity. 3,200 ladies met on a friday night to celebrate their beauty, uniqueness and unity. Mixed with song, praise and prayer we heard choose love, choose to receive love, and choose to believe God loves you. (Much more was shared.)

As a solo attendee, I never felt alone.
At the end of the night, as I made my way down the aisle, someone screamed my name and passed me a note. There on a small piece of paper was a name, telephone number, and an invitation to join a Monday night small group in Rolling Meadows. It's the church I've attended three times.

This really is a great church. Every time I'm in the church I feel the spirit of God. The people are so welcoming and you learn from the bible :- )
