Chihuahua Tire & Rims - Elgin

Was in a pinch for tires quick before a work trip to North Carolina. The staff was extremely helpful and was able to sell me a tire and mount and balance 3 more in a rush for me. I was in and out quickly and my car was treated well. Super friendly staff and great prices. If your in the elgin area and need tires on the cheap this place has got you covered.

Edit: not only have I been sending my customers here for alignments and tires but yet again they come through with flying colors. Driving in my hometown I hit a pothole and dented a wheel. They immediately got my car in and repaired the rim and the tire leak. These guys are nothing short of superhero’s. They’ve earned my business for life.

I am a small business owner and recognize and take note of good service and customer satisfaction. With my company, I work with large commercial tire companies and service centers throughout the Chicagoland area. I understand the importance of scheduling an appointment for service. Chihuahua tire made it very easy to schedule an online appointment on their website. When we wanted to drop off the car overnight so they could get to it first thing on Saturday morning, they said they could take a look at it right at that moment, thus saving us a trip on a busy Saturday. Within a matter of minutes they had the tire off and inspected it. Luckily it was a simple fix and we were on our way with in 15 minutes. All so often I hear from other service centers that they do not have the time to take a look at something without an appointment. Thank you Chihuahua tire for taking the time to look at something when you didn’t have to, and without a schedule time slot. As a business owner I do appreciate good service when I come across it.

I was trying something different by putting Mud Tires on a Dodge Charger. No tire shop would do it because the tread was bigger. Science is science and if it measures good then it will work but NTB and others don’t care. Chihuahua handled it no problem! Now I have an off-road Dodge Charger. I’m taking all my cars back for work there.

I recommend this place to everyone. The shop works very quickly and always gets me in and out fast. They are very honest & fair with pricing. Great service all around, I wouldn’t take my work trucks or personal vehicles anywhere else!
