Wife and I went here for dinner Wednesday evening about 5. I had the vegetarian fajitas and my wife had the fish tacos. We were both full when we left. There were plenty of vegetables in my dish; mushrooms, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, a little tomato; all sautéed perfectly to my taste. The sides were good if typical, but the salsa is excellent. My wife loves fish tacos and these were very much to her liking! By the way, the refried beans tasted homemade, the way they should. I think we will be returning, especially if they have open air seating at some point.

Loved the atmosphere here. Great service!

Food was good, best Mexican in the area.

The chips and salsa was amazing, and the queso was great!

Finally another sit down restaurant in Huntley!

    UPDATE!!!

We went back again with the kids. We were told 45 min wait, which was ok for a Saturday. After about 30 minutes we asked the blue hair girl for an update and she said 45 minutes. I think she is new to being a hostess, so we cut he some slack. We were sat 5 minutes later.

After being seated it was just over an hour until we got our food. The service was incredibly slow. But our waiter was so apologetic and nice. I think he was new to the business as well, and was trying so hard. The owner came over unprompted, apologized to us, and gave us a free desert; some chocolate things that looked like Totino’s pizza rolls....so delicious!!!

Overall, this place is still good, and we will go back. They are still working out some kinks with being a new restaurant with new wait staff. Glad to see that the owner is there overseeing things and being hands on. It shows that he actually cares about the place and it’s success.
