  I’ve been going to the same eye doctor for 20 years, but when my insurance changed recently I had to find a new one. I was very nervous about it, but I decided to try Target Optical in South Elgin based on all the good reviews. Everyone I came in contact with at this location was amazing to me! The front desk people are all so nice. I tried two different eye doctors because my eyes weren’t adjusting to the first prescription well. Both doctors were so nice and made me comfortable. The manager, Kelsey, is amazing and willing to work with you until you’re completely satisfied. I’m very happy with my experience here. I’ll be going back! Big thanks to Kelsey!

  If anyone has little kids and needs a back to school eye exam, go see Dr. Tafadzwa Makoni at Target Optical in South Elgin. She was so good with my little guy and made his first visit to the eye doctor such an awesome, fun experience!

  The staff here are extremely helpful and kind. They seem to remember everyone, and go out of their way to assist in any way possible.

  I've never experienced better customer service than I've had here. With anything. I've had adjustments done a few times and the attention to detail and care about how my glasses fit goes unmatched by any place I've ever gone.
