“Small waterfall, easily missed. Should have a small sign. The trail is part of the Fox River trail. Great place to spend sometime outside, hiking, biking, fishing, bird watching, etc. Can't go wrong.”

“One of my favorite places to run and walk with my family. Lovely bridge and river view, quiet path. It's near the road but mostly you don't see the cars. Off leash dog park is right at the mouth of this park and my kids love seeing all the dogs.”

“My dog and I went here on a nice sunny day. Pottawatomie Park is very big and has numerous activities available. It is mid-October, so certain things are closed down until spring or sometime later: mini-golf, paddle boat cruises, refreshment stand are some of them. The park remains very well-kept and attractive. We saw a beautiful sunset over the Fox River. Many trees and other nature items are well-labeled. There are ball fields, tennis courts and a very large community center. Across the river is a large forest preserve. All in all, a great place to spend a few hours or a day!”

“Awesome boat ride! Great prices! Fantastic easy Ride down the river! Handicap accessible! Many older people come and enjoy by the bus full! Top of boat seating and below shaded seating. Snack and drinks available! Adorable downtown within walking distance with great restaurants! Make a day of it!”

“Great Community Center! I have been to several activities here provided through the park district and they have been excellent overall. Both of my kids have participated in Sports classes for young children which have been very good. They have also attended classes that is a pre pre-school style of class where they kids get to go for 1hr and do singing, art, and playtime with the parents and a teacher and that was very good as well. We have attended the Princess and Pirate River Cruise which was a lot of fun. The building has history and is a beautiful place to come see. There are nice gardens around the building and Pottawatomie park, the city pool, and golf course are all right here as well, so there is plenty to keep a family busy.”

“My mom fell and broke her neck. We needed 24 hour care fast and Helina's was there when we needed them, literally at a moments notice. They bent over backwards, providing my mom with a large, private room, her own bathroom, the bed she wanted and the location of the bed in her room. We were able to visit whenever we wanted and take her out when we wanted. They helped her with showering, provided meals and snacks, made her bed and did her laundry daily. Wonderful, caring owners and staff! Highly recommend!”

“Incredible authentic architecture from the 1800s still alive active and attractive- a real classic early American-style downtown yet ultra modern. Classic and classy- upscale in terms of upper middle class and definitely old money type of wealth and influence. American New England like. Its a river town too so anything goes and all notions of definitions or limitations go out the window. Very beautiful and far better conservation and beautification than other places.”
