Sammies Grayslake

I visited this Sammie location for the 1st time on Sunday, Feb 26, 2023. The workers there were nice, professional and the cooks are awesome. I had the Philly cheese special for lunch and it was OUTSTANDING!!! 😋👌🏽 I will definitely be back and I also would recommend them to anyone around the area or passing by to stop in for lunch/dinner.

Traditional Chicago grill food done right. Sammie's has been a local favorite for a long time now and they never fail to please.

Always great tasting food with reasonable prices and friendly customer service in an always clean/sanitized cozy venue.

Regardless of location, don't know what it is but Sammie's has always stood out from your typical Chicago grill and is closer to the top over most I've been to.

They keep servin' up that delicious grub with a smile and this guy will keep coming back for more.

Delicious food but even better - consistent accuracy on large takeout orders AND friendly people working there. Greatly appreciate this place down the street from me.

My wife & I have been going to the various Sammies locations for about 20 years now so they are doing things right! My favorite is their gyros and a banana shake. I also love their deep-fried mushrooms. As a lot of other take-out restaurants have done, they ask the customer to give the counter person a tip which seems unnecessary since their wages are built into the cost of the food. They are a little expensive.
