(October 28, 2018, 8:22 pm)This gem of a location will provide you with a sense of a hidden location as you explore the trails and surrounding nature. The entrance can be easily missed and the gravel parking lot holds only a few spots. The walking paths, lake and trees will provide will keep your attention every step of the way.

(May 3, 2018, 7:01 pm)This is one of the best forest preserves in the area. It has a beautiful winding ravine. Lots of biodiversity. Also there is a lake; that is tucked away in the back. On certain weekends there are plant sales', as well.

(November 29, 2017, 5:52 pm)One of my favorite local nature spots. I work in Long Grove and in the summer I love going here and walking the nature paths. It takes me back to hiking in the woods in Northern Wisconsin where I grew up. A great mid-day escape on those stressful days.
