  We had our annual Christmas party at Independence Grove. Not only is the venue decorated beautifully, the food is amazing and mostly the staff are exceptionally professional, kind and helpful. This is my 4th year returning for our holiday party!

  We recently had our wedding at Independence Grove (end of December). Alyson and the staff at Independence Grove went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. Alyson was very helpful in helping us stick to our budget for the wedding. When we found out that we would have slightly fewer guests than originally planned, she helped us adjust our food and beverage options so that we would get the most out of our money. We were also really happy with how flexible the venue was. They allowed us to bring some of our own beer to be served by the bartender. Whenever we had questions about anything, Alyson always responded promptly. And, just another example of how the staff at Independence Grove went above and beyond, when we realized during the middle of the wedding that we had left our guests' wedding favors in our car at the hotel across the street, Alyson quickly drove us to get them. We were extremely grateful. In addition to the staff being amazing, the venue itself is a beautiful place for a wedding, even in winter. We had many people tell us that this was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Overall, it was everything we wanted our wedding to be--truly an amazing evening!

  The EIG team was amazing and made our wedding incredible. Alyson was always in constant contact with us and helped us walk through every step of the process. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and how gorgeous the venue is.
  
  We would not have been able to enjoy our wedding as much if it wasn't for Alyson and her team running the show. They knew all of our other vendors as well and were able to work together in unison to make sure everything was running on schedule. We can't say enough nice things about them!

  My husband, Nicholas and I got married at Independence Grove on 9/16/18. We can’t speak more highly of this venue. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we knew this would be the perfect setting for our special day. Marta made the whole process smooth and stress free. The timeline was laid out accordingly and she sent reminders throughout the process. Thank you for these, they saved us, especially as the big day got closer! Our guests are still raving about the food, ambiance and staff at Independence Grove. Thank you for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. We can’t wait to come back and visit. Independence Grove will forever hold a special place in our hearts. :)

  This is Lake County's premiere wedding venue. Every time I get to officiate a ceremony at Independence Grove everything is top notch. The decor, the food, the facilities will leave you and your guests wanting for nothing. Also, If you want dramatic and beautiful wedding photos there is no better backdrop than Independence Grove. The unsung heroes of this venue are the staff. Alyson and her entire team are true customer service professionals. I can't wait to officiate my next ceremony at Independence Grove.
