(October 7, 2018, 11:05 am)3 or 4 looping trails. 3 are gravel and one is really the paved road. Very peaceful. Towards the back is a sledding hill with interesting views of the tollway. Restrooms, picnic areas, and benches provided.

(September 26, 2018, 3:44 pm)My favorite thing is the 1 mile exercise lap in the woods. It is short enough for young kids and has lots of stops to excite them to keep going to the next one. Obstacles, monkey bars, lots of acorns to collect along the way. They will use these to race on the last stop, an inclined sit up board, they think it is a funny acorn slide.
They also have a one way curvey road around the park that is great practice for new drivers. -

(September 23, 2018, 9:11 pm)I have been going to the Old School FP since it was even a forest preserve. Roughly 52 years now - grew up across Street. Mary's Rd. Beautiful spot for hiking, biking, fishing - long list. Visit there and enjoy this beautiful spot as well as surrounding forest preserves.
