“I’ve been to many “gyms” but this is definitely different. The GCP team helps me focus on ALL areas to obtain my true goals not “just” exercise. They teach nutrition, hydration, food intake, timing of eating, portion control, good food vs not so good food; & tailor exercises to help me achieve my personal goals and support me with a mentally positive attitude. The class times & location are very good too. I’ve stepped up to semi private classes from the group classes to achieve my goals sooner (since summer is almost here!) I highly recommend GCP as it’s been a great experience and best of all everyone is friendly and has a positive attitude no matter what your experience level is or what you are personally trying to achieve! “I have been a patient here for two and a half weeks now. This place and its staff are nothing short of incredible. Even on the worst days they always make you believe in yourself and that everything will be okay. Here, you are genuinely treated like family and we are genuinely cared for and about by everyone on the staff. From Office Personnel to Kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance to the nursing staff and the therapy staff, every single one of the people employed here genuinely cares. I would not hesitate to bring anyone in my own family here and even though it is a Rehabilitation Hospital I will truly miss some of the people here as though I were missing family members!!!”

“When my mom had to leave her prior medical rehab facility with very short notice on May 1st, we moved her to Avantara Libertyville. We were welcomed to the facility by Cecilia Estrada in admissions (who is super nice) and she ensured my mom got settled and her information was processed quickly. This is a larger facility and the resident rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The selection of TV channels was better than at my mom's prior rehab as well (which is very important to my mom as well as the other residents there). While my mom unfortunately had to switch rooms after her first week there, Heather Armon, Director of Nursing, personally ensured the room transfer went very smoothly and made sure my mom was comfortable during the move. My mom was mainly at Avantara for wound care, as we have been working to close a sizeable wound for several months, and Marina the wound nurse took great care of her. When we were ready to transition my mom home, Kim Bonhomme, the social worker, ensured everything we needed was ordered and delivered to my parents' house in advance of mom's move home. Liz in wound care even provided my mom's new fulltime home care givers and my dad with general education on her wound. Finally, after we got mom home, we had a few questions about her care and that arose and the team at Avantara met with us again to ensure that we had all questions answered, and knew how to take good care of mom. We very much appreciate the personal attention we got at Avantara and if the need arises again, we would not hesitate to use them again!”

“Well I happened I got Covid. 9 days at home sick and weak. I had neumonia and needed to go to the hospital. I went to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville and they were amazing. One of my doctor's in the hospital was Dr Taha. He is a wonderful man who truly cared for me every day. Listened to what I had to say and really helped me recover from this terrible virus. Needless to say I highly recommend Dr Taha for any of your needs. Condell Hospital is the best as well. Thank you Dr Taha for saving my life. I can imagine where I would be if I hadn't gone to Condell and had you as one of my doctor's.”
