“My daughter just finished her first semester at Carmel. Background: We are not Catholic, my son attends Vernon Hills High School, so we had the option of a top high schools in the state for free. All I can say is WOW. Not only are they academically focused, but they really do pay attention to the whole child. I had read and heard that they believe in not only working with kids to become honorable people, but the proof is in the pudding. Not only are these kids respectful, but the faculty has gone above and beyond for us. We are very, very happy with our decision to send her to Carmel. It's a nurturing environment, and she is really being challenged academically.”

“When you go to the Mobil gas store at 1185 W Park Ave, Libertyville it's a small gas station yet you can get everything that you really need from your gas to having your car washed to going to the bathroom are getting lottery tickets and a cold pop it's a very nice clean small store and the staff or extremely friendly and extremely helpful to everyone as it's in a great place.”

“I recently changed PCPs and Pulmonologists and am reminded over and over again just how rotten it is to be poor in America. But there are shining examples of people who are clearly compassionate and kind and love their work. Dedicated individuals working as healers who obviously care about their patients. Beth Ginsburg is one such person. I saw her only once between other Pulmonologists but she ranks very high from just that one visit. I can tell she is a shining example of what it means to be dedicated to her calling. How do I know this? Well, I am in my early 50's. I was once wealthy and now am not. I was once healthy and am now beset with chronic this and thats that get in the way of life in general. And as a matter of unfortunate course, I see more than my share of different kinds of doctors. While I do understand how doctors nowadays have very little time to spend with each patient, it is truly rare when someone takes the time. And if one thing that poverty has taught me is that people treat you very differently, when someone takes extra time and care for you, YOU NOTICE. I immediately noticed not only attention but care and compassion emanating from this woman. When something like that happens, you take notice. It is rare. And that person or physician stands out, becomes a beacon, a standard of comparison for every other doctor. Simply put, Dr. Beth Ginsburg is not only a fine Pulmonologist, but a truly kind person. 'First do not harm' and then 'second, heal thy patient.' She does both. She really is a rarity. I only wish I had the kind of insurance that allowed me to still be on the program she belongs to.”
