We have many drugstores in our town of Mt. Pleasant, MI. I always gravitate towards Walgreens. Their employees are always extremely friendly, helpful, and exceed the "my job description" expectations, especially the photo department. The photo department employees always have wonderful suggestions and were extra careful with my deteriorating ancestoral family photos.

Walgreen and Kmart are the only two companies in which rewards program gives back useable rewards to their customers. You are able to apply your rewards directly toward your purchase. FYI-my keychain is laden with many different companies' reward cards that produce no results.

One of the other things that I admire about Walgreens is that they are a debt-free company. Every store they open...every employee they hire is already covered by pre-determined company finances. That means that during times of feast or famine, the company is able to maintain its workforce and stores without asking for loans from bank and/or the public. Nice.

This an unsolicited review. I do not have any affiliation with Walgreens or any subsidiary other than shopping and quietly watching how each business runs it facilities at the ground level.
